February 28

We recently finished presenting our story boards. I’m really excited after seeing what each group has thought up, but I’m worried that we might not be able to pull it off. Let’s see how it goes from here!

  1. That excited anticipation tells me that you’re fully aware that if you keep going as you have been you are more likely to succeed than not. I like the way you articulate your commitment to this project, and to the group. Thanks so much for making the video. I know project-based learning is more time consuming sometimes just because everybody is so committed to the group, and to the project’s outcome. The motivation to do the work alone causes students to become, like you, deeply engaged.

I wish that educators with the goal of deeply engaging students would read all of your comments and understand that a movie is a collaborative event and that everybody contributed to the best of his or her ability–and everybody learned more about everything including themselves than in any other classroom ever, right?!

At least, that’s the way it sounds to me reading every word you all have written…

Thanks for posting, and letting your thoughts be known.
